The power of healing comes from within.  I am a family and play therapist. My role is to act as a facilitator, providing the tools for the client/or family to find the inner strength to overcome obstacles and improve their quality of life. The broad goal of therapy is to help people (an individual, family or couple) to make fundamental changes in the way they think and act in their relationships, with an aim of moving toward a greater balance. My approach to therapy is often non-traditional, utilizing sandplay, music, art, and relaxation techniques with my adult & adolescent clientele.

With children under 12, I utilize client-centered play therapy. Play is how children communicate about the world around them.  Play is a fun, enjoyable activity that brightens our outlook on life. The playroom encourages the client to develop a safe place to promote social and emotional growth.
